easier way to find budget hotels in KL. i swear

It has been awhile since i last wrote anything in here. Well life has been very busy and tiring and everything in between. i have finally graduated my study and that’s what psyched me the most. Still looking for a job and at the same time still waiting for the scholarship. OH THE WAITING!

That aside, few days back, Mamat called me and ask me to find him a place in KL to stay as Dayat and him are going to take a 3 days KL sightseeing before going back to Johor. Going to all the tourist places in KL sounds weird to me but, you can’t blame people that is living gazillion away from KL to feel excited about the places that is just a drive away from your home right?

 Being a student, I believe he has not much of funding but i think when there’s a will there’s a way right?

“Shen, wey, mind helping me to find cheap place for rent? Any friends of yours know any good place to rent? 

 “HAHA, seriously? What am i? Classified?!”

“Please! Im desperate!!”

Well, it’s not that i refuse to help him (no i was not jealous that he started working before i did =D) but where would i find places for rent in KL? I live in shah alam dude? Shah alam. So anyway being a good friend i did google around and found out this website, iBilik.my. 

THIS website has made the search easier in so many ways.  I’m serious. The easy navigation system and the search capability is just so easy to use and even a non-It savvy person may use it at ease. So i contacted Mamat and ask him the area he needs and start searching based on them. The number of hits is kind of amazing and we managed to find the right room just within 2 hours and call the owner.

We found a nice room that cost only RM45 per day and it is situated in the heart of KL. How awesome was that? The descriptions given by iBilik or the leaser are so complete that it matches the room. The picture that was attached gives us the image of what the room would be and it fits the description. What i love the most about the website is every room will be attached with a map on how to find them as you all know how easily i will get lost. YES even in my hometown Selangor, let along Kuala Lumpur.

I was about to brag about it one day, to finally found a gem on the internet until i came across a taxi that bears the iBilik advertisement. Cehhhh ....it’s a well known website. Not much to brag about now huh.  pfft. it's a famous website and i just came to know about it. Seriously?!

Man i am so left out =(

Anyway, that aside, what excites me the most is as my friends and i are planning to have a KL-getaway (as weird as it sounds, we do that annually for clubbing and hangout), i believe finding KL budget hotel won’t be much of a hassle now. This time, i think we should go and try the UFO-Capsule Hotel though. Looks revolutionary and awesome. Can’t wait.

Well, just hope that friends from the other state wouldn't start asking me to search for rooms after what i did for Mamat or i have to charge. =D
